You'd be calmer. Certainly fulfilled in different ways; possibly more fulfilled. You'd keep working on the work you really enjoy, and none (or less) of the drudgery.

Kindly do not modify your marvelous body surgically.

Change your definitions of "far" and "close to home" so you can explore other cultures on other continents and consider them neighbours. Don't bother visiting as far away as Jupiter.

Were money not an issue...

I'd keep doing what I do, but for a different cause and on a more relaxed schedule.

Like you, I would also resume formal education and add more exercise to my schedule. And music.

But I would not and do not any longer shop at Whole Foods because they are too corrupt for even my robust sensibilities. James Leininger has his dirty little fingers in their pie and I am boycotting them. Start here to find out more.

Dude, that SO depresses me about Whole Foods. Crappity crap. Is CM any better...?

I wish exercise/fun education/music weren't so impossible given normal adult lives.

So far as we (Chrysta and I) know, HEB/CM is ok and Wheatsville is outstanding since it's a member-owned co-op.

PS: You should try their tempeh tacos and sit on the patio with us sometime! At $2.00/taco you can eat $cheep. One taco is likely to fill you up.

DOOD, I need to join there but I'm such a cheapskate that I don't. I'm a big HEB/CM fan, too. I looooove tempeh!! I can't eat tortillas, but the filling sounds fantastic. Lemme know next time y'all go! Tempeh and cheap are 2 words I love in the same sentence.

The old saw goes, "Money can't buy you happiness."

I agree whole-heartedly, but would add: While money can't BUY you happiness, it certainly makes contentedness easier to maintain, once you've achieved that contentedness.

No kidding. Money's important! Lack of it can certainly lead to stress, which can lead to unhappiness....

If money can't buy happiness, I guess I'll have to rent it.
