why do I keep counting?

My body has this cool new trick it does. It wakes up at 3:30 am and refuses to go back to sleep until dawn, my mind almost frantic in its sleepless, wandering thought. This leaves me with dark circles under my eyes that make me look older and mysterious

our kids do that same 3:30am trick. they are young and only slightly mysterious.

sometimes i laugh when i'm uncomfortable which isn't the same as faking a laugh, but it's far from a joyous humour laugh. margaret has a fake social laugh (replete with melodramatic gesticulation) that truly does crack me up.

i'd go with to harry potter, but i'm gonna be in fort worth. can't wait for the tea though. =)
