hold your tongue tightly

I'm so tired I hurt. Ali says our 'socialization muscles' are out of shape, that with time and more late night bar hoppings we'd be able to hang with the best of them. Currently, though, we are not able to hang. We both look beaten and say things that aren't what we mean and aren't even sensical. We're tripping over our own feet, staring off into ( Read more... )

used my education discount this year, so if you want, price shop from the Education->UT selections on the Apple store. I'm unlike to buy any macs this year, so it would really just go to waste.

Alllso, tell me of this BrownBar thing?? I wanna club dance with you! I promise, I can dance like a bigger fool than anyone, with heartfelt glee. And after a glass of wine, I switch to water, so we could be total cheapskates.

Brown Bar isn't a dance club, it's just a bar but it's a COOL bar (Colorado and 8th) and Saturday night they had a DJ and an area of open space that first Chris and then others used as a dance area. So we got the benefit of a small bar with easy parking because it's away from 6th street, but the fun of a dance club!
Next time I go I'll text ya to join!

When I worked across the street, I would go to Brown Bar up to 4 or 5 times a week! Fun place. I'd be into going if you guys go again, too.

I've always assumed that the fatigue I feel most times I try to go to clubs and be like I was when I was 18-21 is due to the fact that I am no longer 18-21. I like Ali's muscle theory though. This means that there might be hope to reacquire that lost tolerance and stamina.

Do you think I can reacquire the lost hearing, too? ;) My poor cochleae.

We did manage to relive glory days recently at my bachelorette party. I was far from sober, so I may not know what I'm talking about, but a club called Rain was pretty fun. We were all very proud of our stamina, even if our tolerance may have not fully served us like it once did.
