I've repeatedly said that, as an agnostic, I really envy those who fully believe. Fully believe in God. Fully believe in the absense of God. Just fully believe in anything. I'm even envious of the atheists. The confidence in being able to say, "I know, without a doubt, KNOW, this is my truth." I wish I could get there but somehow I don't see it happening.
Good point, even knowing deep down that nothing exists seems preferable to cosmic angst and NOT knowing. But I guess we all have truths that we know with our soul, deep down things we can use to help us find comfort in our finite-ness/not finite-ness/just not knowing.
