What a neat story - I'm curious how you came up with the name for the group?

The name origin story is more "you had to be there for it to be funny" type story.

When me and my fellow Co-ML made our goodie bags for the Kick Off Party, we enclosed fancy decorated pencils and hat erasers. One of the hats was a purple and blue fedora which looked like something a pimp would wear and one of the pencils was furry like a Yeti. Both items ended up in a Wrimos bag. She is a very creative person. She placed the pimp hat on the Yeti pencil and began a skit about a Yeti Pimp. All pimps need a Ho, so another Wrimo who also received a Yeti pencil, proceeded to make a leopard print tape bikini. This lead to another skit involving the Pimp Yeti and is Yeti Ho. It was so funny.

The time came to pick a group name and we all thought we should be The Pimp Yeti Hos. It was perfect for us. We are crazy, creative, with just the right amount of silly. Over the years, we have shortened it to Yetis. Once a Yeti always a Yeti. We even have junior members. :)

Ah! I think I have seen similar hats to what you describe! Any of you ever dress as pirates? They could be the Pimp Yeti Yo-Ho-Ho's!
