But I was wondering if you wanted us to tag our entries with specific tags. Or if it was okay just to post without any tags.

You can tag your entry with the challenge 001 tag, but don't worry if you forget, meridianslair and I are still figuring out the best way to keep the comm organize, so we'll go back and tag all the entries if need be. Thanks for asking though! :)

Hi! Just a small question: for the prompts do we have to incorporate both picture and quote into our fic or can we pick either one?

You must fulfill at least one of the prompts

So basically you just have to include on prompt. You are absolutely not required to use both, and I honestly don't really recommend it since they're pretty different, but by all means feel free to if you'd like.

Ultimately: You can pick either one or use both

i'm sorry. i don't do this kind of thing very often. so we write whatever comes to mind when we look at that picture or read that quote?

Sort of~ Regardless of what you write or how you write it, the story has to in some way represent the prompt and it has to be clear. For instance, if you choose the picture, you write a story about their clothes, their poses, what each of them is thinking, etc. (Those were very uncreative ideas, just using them as examples).

If you use the quote, you could mention one of the lines in the fic, or have the entire fic revolve around the quote itself....You're free to do whatever. So long as the prompt is clear in you fic, anything goes (provided you stay within the other restrictions).

Hopefully that clarifies it for you, if not feel free to ask further questions!
