i made this set for my icon journal back in june and every time i look at them i think there are a couple that are too wordy. guess i got carried away singing along. :)

very beautiful....not taking any right now, but wanted to comment.

My fave quote from shawn is still the one about my home town....

"Portland is a small town with a bitter city smile..." from September in Seattle...that and Twin Rocks, Oregon are my favorites. hehe I love him though, he's amazing.

I don't have pictures, just videos from the show I went to back in May...wish I could post them...lol

oh my gah i just noticed the billy joe mckay one!! I LOVE THAT SONG! it gives me goosebumps when he goes "i hope there's some gas in the old mans ford cause' i'm outta here!" yeah i'm taking that one too. lol

i like that line too, and how he absolutely drawls "walmart parking lot." the line that gives me chills every time is from "tannin bed song" where he sings "i'm taking the microwave oven, and i'm taking the color teeeeeevee and i'm packing up the chevy with the kids ... and what's left of me." brrrrr ... :)

there's not an "okay" song on that entire album -- they're all ... well, i'm preaching to the choir here lol.

maybe a thread where we post our favorite shawn mullins' song and say why would be fun?(make that "songs" -- no way i could pick just one lol)
