is it okay for us to email him, or is that restricted to family? I mean immediate family?

As far as I know it is okay to e-mail him, he just can't reply to anyone but us. I just don't have his e-mail address yet. I hope that changes today! In the meantime, we have been e-mailing him using dearelder.com.

I got his official e-mail today. It is BBB@myldsmail.net You can send your e-mails there from now on and he will get them on his p-days. He will probably be limited in his e-mail time and will just have time to reply to us (sorry--I'm the priority here!) and I will forward them on to you. But I think I will encourage him, when he writes to you (Mom and Dad), to send it by e-mail rather than try to figure out international mailing rates or sending it here and I will forward it on.

The problem with others e-mailing is that then he has very little time to reply to the family!! I suggest only immediate family e-mail, his e-mail reply is forwarded to everyone and they reply with letters or dear elder letters if typing is the preference.
Do you think my missionary has listened to his mother? NO!!!!
