...Goodness.

"Hello," says... well, Intuition.

The one with rather more colour than your average human, as opposed to rather less.

Well, isn't this a thing.

"You fell foul of the physical body as well," Ish observes dryly.

"It is, apparently, a hazard."

Grin.

"It has its uses, however."

Ish laughs.

"So I've been finding."

For great fun! She's not sure about the colours, but she likes Inty already. (Well, they are more or less the same person.)

Someone who loves her very dearly is making breakfast in the kitchen. Breakfast will consist of fried eggs, fried bread, fried - various meat products, and fried various vegetable.

It's a Brythonic delicacy, and not to be sneezed at. 'Sides, someone's Irish girlfriend might just like it, when it's brought back to the fort.

(Has it been mentioned quite how much Jack likes having a girlfriend? He loves it.)

Though Intuition receives a wide, warm smile.

Ish does not intend to sneeze on it. Ish intends to admire it. (Well, when you've spent your years subsisting on cobweb and shadow which is more filling than it sounds, and low on calories, the skill of cooking is an impressive one. And she does love Jack, after all.)

Smile back! It smells gorgeous, Jack. She's sure your girlfriend will adore it.

Jack loves it when he doesn't have to talk. Not that he doesn't love the sound of his own voice - he does that - but there's an exhilaration in not needing to.

Would Ish like a portion of her own? he has it to spare.

:D!

She would, Jack. She would like it very much. Her only experience of actual real food consumed in the human way (guts and stomach acids and all; it's faintly disturbing) thus far has been meal-replacement bars, and she's determined that this not remain the case.

Eden comes outside and sees--

"Oh Christ," she mutters under her breath.

Now, what could she possibly have done to provoke such a reaction?

...Ah.

"We're not precisely the same," she tells Eden reproachfully. Possibly undermining her own point in the process, but there you go.

"Yeah, I figured."

There's a pause where Eden debates just plain leaving or not.

Eventually, with an awkward shift of her weight from one foot to the other and back again, she says, "So, I guess you know my name and everything?"

"Of course."

Ish's instinct is telling her that Eden's not too happy about her entire life story being open to peruse, and since Intuition's instinct does not tend to be wrong, she adds: "But I knew everything about everyone when I was abstract, so not to worry."

...Possibly that made sense only to her.
