Well.
Gray has managed to arrive at the Cooper place, and after parking his stolen Dodge Viper beside the white Mini Cooper (ahaha the narration just got that), takes the scenic route back around to the front of the house.
He likes walking.

She peers as she passes him on her way to the kitchen. (She's not actually technically headed for the kitchen at this moment, but no matter where she goes she always seems to end up there. The once-wraithlike girl is filling out nicely.)
With open curiosity: "You're not the one with the sea monster, are you?"

"I was somewhere else first, yes. But most recently, we came from the east."

He couldn't be from her world, could he? He's dressed weirdly, but then again he hasn't yet commented on her feet.
"Mine's called Karock," she prompts, but without much hope.

After the whole bit with the monochromatic girlfriend, he's got high standards for weird.

"Be nice if there was someone, though," she shrugs. Come on, no-one's even heard of Tryst, and that's the biggest city ever that she knows of. It's slightly disheartening when your birthplace might as well not exist.
