Sylar is pensive.

He's also hanging around a Metropolis rooftop. Yes, that one.

At some point he has managed to procure a perrfectly serviceable black trenchcoat which prompts more nostalgia than he will ever admit, and now he's indulging in a good lurk.

It's only been a day, but Jesse has started to view those as her rooftops. And he's trespassing.

On an adjacent rooftop, there is a vampire, also in a shadow, eyeing him with distrust.

He hears her before he sees her, and gives no indication of either for a long moment.

And then, as though noticing her for the first time, a friendly smile. One creepy rooftop lurker to another.

Well, if he's going to be friendly, she can offer a smile in return. She could join him on his rooftop, but that would be a fairly obvious display of supernatural power. And thus, not wise.

Friendly nod.

Sylar is beginning to discover that obvious displays of supernatural power are more beneficial than not.

It's thus that he walks to the edge of his rooftop and hops easily across the distance between the two, floating on thin air as though there's nothing remarkable about a little levitation.

"Good evening."

Long, thin tentacles, five of them, clamber up the side of the building, getting a good grip on the inside of the ledge, followed quickly by five more. They begin quivering, and not long after, a head rises up above the edge, and the rest of the body as well, the tentacles turning back into Thomas' fingers. He too is dressed in black, with the fun black trenchcoat. His coat, however, is currently loaded down with some things that aren't exactly his.

Standing and stretching, Thomas pauses, his eyes locked on Sylar. "Oh. Uh. Didn't know anyone was up here."

The smile Sylar gives him is not particularly friendly.

"I can imagine not," he comments.

You know. What with the lurking and all.

Thomas shrugs absently, adopting his usual slouch. His hands slip into his pockets, self conciously. It should be noted, seeing as Sylar generally knows how things work, that Thomas no longer has any sort of inside structure at all. Every piece of him functions as his organs, somehow. Lots of little tiny molecules that all join together.

"Was just looking for someplace out of the way."

"I can appreciate that."

Smirk? What smirk? You see no smirk here. Ignore the smirk behind the curtain.
