It has been a long, long, long, long, long time since Steph heard that sort of music. She's drawn like a mayfly.

So before too long, there's a teenage once-superhero leaning on the wall by the back door, smirking a little at the grey guy with the music in an utterly pleased sort of way.

She'd say hi, but he probably wouldn't hear her anyway over the music. She's just gonna lounge and listen until he notices.

Steph likes him already. She grins in return and stretches her legs out, basking in the weak winter sun. She might go for a jog later - out to the horizon. Because she can. Maybe she'll peel Socks away from the machinery in the barn and make him come too.

This place is great.

"What's it like, growing up in LA? Gotta be more glamorous than white-trash suburbs of Gotham. Or at least sunnier."

"Uh... si, okay, I'll give you sunnier." Angelo smirks a little and shrugs. "Ah, yes, the glamour of late-night drug busts and policia sirens, gang wars, car alarms goin' off all th'time..."

He's grinning, but not because it's a joke - mostly because the car alarms tended to go off after he hotwired them.

"...sounds just like home," Steph says, and grins. "You could pretend it was glamorous. If you shut your eyes and ears and didn't listen to the shouting or the crying kids or the screaming victims."

That gets a faint grimace, and then she shrugs. "I couldn't shut my eyes, so I was one of the idiots out there in a cape and mask." This, slightly proudly. Steph loved being Spoiler.
