"Oh, shi--" Tom hisses softly from the entrance to the living room.
He interrupts himself and stares more closely at the form he glimpsed briefly on the couch as he passed by.
Is that corpse breathing?

And Tom leaves.
If the grey man has any powers, besides looking freakish, he's confident he'll weasel them out of somebody eventually.
He does make a mental note to keep an eye on Angelo.
The Protectors got disbanded because someone stuck a knife in the wrong person on an utterly normal day.
Life's funny that way. You never know.
