He sounds it as well, and that's all Leah cares about. She's chilled and leaning back in the passenger seat, chatting away merrily about anything and everything. There's an earpiece in her ear, of course, but it's on emergency broadcast only so she can chat with Sam uninterrupted.

"You promised to descrcibe any cool views," she reminds him. Because he did, and as strange as it might be to demand desccriptions like this, she's comfortable enough now that she doesn't worry about asking such things of him.

"I know," Leah says cheerfully.

"You really need to get yourself some new friends, though. I'm gonna get you into trouble."

Cheerfully; "As long as we're clear you hang out with me of you're own free will and I don't make you do anything."

:D

"Not that I'm aware," Leah says. "But you never know when you might take the blame for something."

"Not a problem with Barbara," Leah points out. "Everyone else just does what I say, which is a weird kinda friendship."

Sam smiles and swerves to avoid a large crack in the road. "Barbara doesn't seem the type to let anyone take credit for work she's done."

"Definitely not," Leah agrees, though she does add, "roads need work still, huh?"

"I appreciate you choosing that explanation instead of ragging on my driving.

"...yes, the roads still suck."

Leah smirks. "Last time I ragged on your driving you offered me the wheel, remember?"

Which was a daft thing to do, because she called his bluff.

Yeah, that was... surprising. Sam looks mildly uncomfortable.

More importantly, sounds embarrassed.

"Well, I've learned from that experience and won't be doing it again," he replies, grinning a little at himself.

Leah's grinning too, just as much at him.

"And I'm just gonna trust your driving," she says. "It's never done me wrong so far."

Sam grins, thinking of the very first time he met Leah - which was, more or less, in this very car.

The Impala is for Dean and Sam. Sometimes it seems like the Porsche is for Sam and Leah.

"Your faith in me is appreciated. Even when we're not being chased by zombies."

"Hey, don't tempt fate," Leah says. "Frankfurt ended up getting leveled, last I heard."
