Barbara will never stop being grateful that whatever brought her here decided to grab Dinah and Zinda with her. She isn't sure she could have held it together this long on her own

Dinah shoots a salute at Babs. "Aye aye then, let me down, Lady Blackhawk."
The door to the hanger lowers, and she rides down at a slow pace into the runway, still with her helmet off, but otherwise in full Black Canary costume.
Whatever the four men outfitted in police riot gear and carrying submachine guns were expecting, Dinah Lance wasn't it. The guns they were holding on the opening cargo bay of the Aerie one droop a bit when they see that the "threat" they were worried about is a blonde woman in fishnets.
It's pretty clear that they're not sure what to say at the moment.
Dinah was off pulling recon in the area around the airport. Barbara had given her a few potential sites to check, but mostly she was on her own out there. Zinda had smiled and talked he way through Sergeant Irving's men and was looking around the airport for supplies.
That left Barbara alone with Aerie One trying to get some idea of what satellites were in the air and what they were doing. Some of them were similar, but it wasn't the same as being at home, and the cataloguing process was going to take a while.
She'd left the rear ramp down and had an ear out for Dinah's or Zinda's return.
Yeah, Val's seen this thing around - generally careful to stay the hell out of its way, because avoiding being noticed by planes is a thing flying superheroes-in-training get good at.
Now, however, there's a little problem, and it's a big enough little problem that she actually followed the plane to Metropolis.
Its name is Doineann, though she's never been formally introduced.
Val stops at the ramp and looks around helplessly. What, is she supposed to knock or something? Would it be rude to just barrel on in? Probably.
Being in a wheelchair has made Barbara even more aware of her surroundings than she was as Batgirl. That or the proximity sensors have gone off. Her head snaps up and one hand slips down to the seat next to her. "Can I help you?" she calls without shifting position.
"Uh, I think it might actually be more a matter of me helpin' you," Val calls back. "C'n I come in? I got somethin' I think you should hear, if you're gonna be flyin' this thing around."
Well, it's a relief to be out and about in a town with an actual population, Dinah thinks. Although the stares she gets for actually having a working bike make her feel a bit guilty.
But there're people to talk to and a chance of actually doing some good, and that's good to hear, at least.
Clark's been down in the caves for the better part of the last few hours, making sure everything is as they should be. Still, there are certain sounds that are worth paying attention to, even if he's not really actively listening. A plane is one of them.
He's in Metropolis minutes later, stopping in an alley and then walking at regular speed out to a busier street. The motorcycle is worth some attention, too, as is the woman riding it. Clark has a feeling if she's been around this whole time, he'd have seen her before now.
He isn't a big believer in coincidences and something tells him her arrival along with the sudden arrival of a plane aren't going to make him one now.
That garners a raised eyebrow and a mildly confused expression. He's been confused for the version of himself in this world, but not someone else entirely.

Dinah smirks at Babs, and tucks her helmet under her arm instead of putting it on. But she's not getting off her bike.
"Are you staying here?"

Best to keep a professional demeanour, after all.

Lots of people are looking at her, but something about this kid makes her stop and let him approach. Maybe it's just the way he's looking at her.
By the time her helmet's off, though, she manages a doubletake.
"Conner?"

"No, sorry. My name's Clark."
