Barbara Gordon is in her command center. This means that there are screens everywhere flashing all sorts of information. That's not unusual. What is unusual is that Barbara Gordon isn't looking at any of them.

No. Instead she's staring down at her hands in her lap.

She's not crying, though. Not even in private.

The farm's not actually all that private, anyway.

Dick lets himself in, ducking the warnings and alarms, and heads over to put his hands on her shoulders.

"Babs? What's up?"

Her head snaps up and she takes a split second to compose herself. "Nothing much."

Lies like that tend to work better when you're talking to someone who doesn't know you really, really well.

"Also, the sky's green today." Dick only just missed being hit by that head-snap. "Come on out and look."

She's been in here way too long.

"I'm pretty sure I've got a program in here somewhere that would have told me if that had happened." What? Better to be prepared.

Dinah stands in the door for a second, watching her friend. After a while she disappears.

A few seconds later, she reappears, with a tub of ice cream made by hand on a farm to the south of them. And two spoons.

It says a lot about Babs' current funk that she doesn't notice Dinah the first time. Or the second time.

Will she notice if Dinah pulls up a chair and pokes her hand with the handle of a spoon.

ICE CREAM, BABS.

Barbara starts and looks up. She spots the ice cream and smiles wanly. "I look that bad, do I?"
