A note has been toed underneath Darla's excessively leafy door. The handwriting and signature belong to Chandra Suresh.

It says: I'm so glad you're alive. It says: I hope you're safe. It says: we need to find one another again.

It gives an address.

gabriel gray (sylar), the dionaea house, darla wood

She picks the note up off the floor - reads it - reads it again.

"Gabriel?"

He manifests.

It's a new-ish trick: with the increasing solidity he's gaining, the anchor of Darla and her vibrantly living house of plants, he's learning to choose just how he appears to the physical world. You'd think, being Sylar, he would prefer to lurk invisibly; instead you're fairly likely to find him surrounded by greenery and darkly translucent.

He doesn't exactly have an outline, unless it's by default; he's more like the glass shell of a man that's filled with smoke. But you can almost make out the shadows of his face.

"What is it?"

He's even back to complete sentences!

"This."

She holds out the note for him to read. Mostly, she looks... uncertain.

"Chandra sent it. He wants-- I guess he wants me to visit him."

Chandra.

Sylar still has mixed feelings regarding Chandra. The man recognised him, but he also turned against him. And yet Darla seemed to turn against him, too, and here they are. If he was wrong about one... he's not sure what to think.

He's trying to ignore that fact, since not knowing his own mind disturbs him.

Sylar abandons introspection in favour of skimming the letter, surprised and skeptical. The signature looks genuine, but-- "How did he find out where to send it?"
