There just so happens to be a red haired girl trudging down the road, dressed in a rather familiar black leather coat. She looks a little worse for wear, as if she'd been in a fight or two, and the sharp pointy staff is a good indication she expects trouble.

But at the sight of a car, she sticks out her thumb, just in case. These ones might be human.

Human? Well, one of them.

The other two are only partly so.

And one of them recognizes that coat.

The car comes to a not-quite-screeching halt, and Faith launches herself out of the driver's seat the second it's safe.

"Where did you get that coat?"

That is a menacing expression.

Spike raises his pointy stick in to an attack stance... And then recognises the driver. "Oh bloody hell, you have to be kidding me."

Faith recognizes the accent even better than she does the coat.

"......Spike?"

Long pause.

"Dude, you've got tits."

There may be loud music.

Specifically, loud music playing from an iPod that's slotted into a little space on a very high tech motorbike. It's not on the road, but it's heading the way, and doesn't seem to have any trouble with off-road travel.

(The man riding it should really be wearing a helmet.)

He probably should, but Faith isn't one to judge others for not wearing helmets.

She'd probably do the same thing.

She will, however, ogle when they cross paths.

That is a fine piece of machinery.

And a pretty motorbike too.

The motorbike slows to a stop, a little way ahead. Not on the road, because even post-apocalypse, stopping in the middle of the road is how accidents happen.

Something's pulled out of a slot on the motorbike, tucked in his pocket, before Tomas unshoulders a backpack (he stole it from some store, somewhere) and starts to rummage in it for food.

By the road may not be the best place to have lunch, but he's hoping that the prospect of food will get Faith to stop the car so that he can have some human interaction.

It works.

The car slows, then stops. Faith takes a minute to ogle, then flashes Tomas a wide smile.

She's really very pretty.

"That is one gorgeous bike."
