I went to one Worldcon back in the eighties, when it was in New Orleans. I still have the badge with my old name on it.
I'm starting to understand "It's an honor just to be nominated", too. Not that I actually am or anything. But just showing up in a suggestions list like that was pretty damn exciting.
god i really need to make the time to actually do the remaining 10% of getting your comics up so your reputation can start growing.
