A re-post

Jan 23, 2004 14:20

Someone spammed the last one, and it was easier to delete the whole thing than the hundreds of comments.

In any case, this journal is friends-locked. Leave a message, or just friend me, and I'll friend you.

Hey! My name's Kendra A. I just read "Painters' Primer" on the Potter Slash Archive, and I just wanted to write in to you and tell you that I absolutely loved it -- it's going on my list of favorites -- and to mention in passing that I'm Friending you, if that's all right. :)

Sure! I'm flattered. I'm also Annie, by the way--nice to meet you. I'm not a hugely prolific fic writer, but I do come out with stuff every once in a while, and I'm working on something now, so I don't feel to guilty being friended over fic-ness. :)

Er. It's from a Tamora Pierce title, originally, that made me think of it. The wineglass-shattering scene made me decide that it was a good name (hehe) and from then on I've seen it everywhere -- the Nick Bantock books, for example, have a great shattering glass postcard (I have it as an icon and would use it except I'm not logged in. Whoops). Etc. :)
