why do i give advice to everyone about
life
love
friends
thoughts
sadness
happiness
and anything else

when all i really want to do is
find someone who i can kinda "settle down" with for a couple years
i can't even do it myself

i haven't been looking for about 2 years
and it still hasn't come

you gie advice cause people ask, and if you're like me.......you hate doing it and feel like you suck at it but do it anyway. and dude, it'll happen, just gotta get you off this scene boy diet? (i purposefully(sp?) put that question mark there. how do you feel about it?)

You can't find someone to settle down with until you're comfortable settling down with yourself. That's when it comes. You're on the right track by not actively looking (because that's like chasing a butterfly), but you still have to make sure that you could settle down with yourself. That doesn't mean that you're doomed to spinster life or anything such as that, it's just to make sure that you love yourself, could live with yourself, support yourself, etc. Because if you can't be with yourself, chances are, few people can. And just the strongest piece of advice, real love comes from the most unexpected places...like that friend who you didn't really like at first, or the kid you wanted to kill in elementary school, or the old person down the road (probably not really, but I figured I could add some humor :-P). Just keep in mind that a lot of people love you, and I'm sure there are a couple who are in love with you.
