Hip Hop JUMP - Myojo April 2011

May 08, 2011 00:00

First of all, tidbits/report translations for HiroSuke's Crea shows 5/7 13:00 + 17:00 have been completed here!

Which reminds me. I think it was one of the shows? They were talking about Hair's costumes, and how members came up with them on their own! They drew the costumes out, but since Tai-chan fails the most at drawing, he was told to do it properly, but in the end, described his design with words instead, LOL.

...should I be jealous of fangirls lining up at Crea trying to get a same-day ticket because they got to see HiroSuke and Juniors going into the theatre? >>'' Or at least Taisuke and some Juniors because Hiro went by taxi apparently. >>'' Taisuke just walked in normally. By the way, today's ratio was apparently 17 out of 399 for the afternoon show.

Anyways, 13:00!

Start of the second day for HiroSuke Crea shows, plus last day for Kabuki.

Hip Hop JUMP has nothing to do with either directly lol, but I am posting a translation requested by king_kun through help_japan.

(which reminds me, I finally added some tags to my journal to help tagging my sharing posts and all maybe a week or two ago, and HHJ finally has their own tag! Lol. I'm only like almost 2 years late. //whacked//)

Translation. Members talk about what they are proud of, from family members to abilities they have and such.

Hip Hop JUMP
At the self-appeal convention, aim for a break!

Hip Hop JUMP appears!! This time is a boasting convention. Dondon, pafupafu ♪ They're going to show you their good points, so everyone, please come to like the six of them ♡ Please support them as well ♪ [Note: I know dondon can be mimicking drumming sound or mean rapidly or steadily, but the meaning pafupafu is lost to me (there is a meaning to that, but not appropriate at all in this context), so I can only assume the onomatopoeic words are to hint on excitement and such.]

Boastful talk is the starting of "like ♥"♪

Lewis Jesse
My grandfather is really energetic. Even though he's 71 years old, he would say "I'm going to the gym" and the figure of him leaving the house after that is cool. Maybe it's because he's eating vegetables after all. With his influence, since I'm drinking aojiru every day, I'm very healthy. [Note: Aojiru is vegetable juice drink made from green leafy vegetables] Plus, ever since I was old enough to understand what was happening around me, I've never had an injection before. When I went to get a vaccination after not having done so in a while, my friend told me "Try pinching yourself to see how much it'll hurt" and had a rehearsal of that. In reality though, it didn't hurt at all and pinching had hurt a lot more...

Hagiya Keigo
I'm bad at remembering things by nature. Being a Junior, bad at remembering dances is hard, to be honest (laughs). What I've come to understand lately though is that after sleeping for a night, I would come to be able to do it! A part that I wasn't able to play when practising the drums at home too, the next day, it's like "Huh? I can play it". This kind of genetic make-up, if I say it's my pride, then it is. Even though cold or influenza is spreading around school, I still haven't caught a cold yet! It's thanks to washing my hands and gargling...

Morohoshi Shouki
Well, a week ago, I had a surgery for appendicitis. This is my second time of getting appendicitis, and the first time, it was cured with just an injection, but this time, it was the course of immediate surgery → hospitalization. I got general anaesthesia, so there was no personal effort of like "Just how much can I endure!?", and within two seconds, my memory... When I realized it, I was lying on a bed in a hospital room. Too quick... I was really happy that my friends came to visit me and sent me mails of encouragement though. Un, my friends are my pride.

Kadoi Kento
I applied to the "O~i Ocha"'s New Haiku Contest and it was chosen for an honourable mention. I was just a little bit away from having it printed on a can or PET bottle~ I think it was something like, "Tulip, lining up in order of height, first years". I was close~ [Note: O~i Ocha is a brand of bottled tea from Itoen and they have contests regularly where people send in haikus and winners have their haiku printed on either the can or bottles of the tea. You can find the website of the contest here. There are even rules in English. Kadoi's haiku in Japanese would have been 'Chuulippu se no jun narabu yo ichinensei' I didn't bother trying to fit the translation in a haiku format.] Speaking of tea...my family loves tea and in the hallway of my house, we have PET bottles from drinking tea lined up in a line. Then, in the winter, we put in hot water from the bath tub into those bottles and into the futon... It's an eco pride that keeps us warm~ until the morning.

Tanaka Juri
My older brother is KAT-TUN (laughs). Also, I'm good at sports, but my younger brother in Gr.5 is even better. In marathon competitions, he's always first and he's really good at baseball too! While watching the television, he'd go "What should I say during the hero interview..." and seriously be worried over that. [Note: Hero interview is something like an interview of the MVP of the game afterwards] My pride is just something like owning a lot of white sneakers. I want boots too, but when I got to a shoe store, I would buy white sneakers for some reason...before I realized it, I have over 10 pairs!

Murta Rikito
My marks at school are almost all 5 (I only failed at that when I entered middle school and at the beginning of my third year). [Note: Japanese marking system goes from 1 to 5 where 5 is the highest.] As long as I take notes properly during lessons, even if I don't study at home, I somehow manage. Also, I guess it would be getting along with the teacher? Say greetings everyday is important after all. My grandfather and grandmother that lives with me are my pride too. They like going on trips and have brought me to various places. From Okinawa to Hokkaido, even to Guam, Hawaii, Chicago... It's too bad that I can't go with them lately.

I don't have much to say! o/ //whacked//

Hope people enjoyed this short translation! Since there aren't a lot of HHJ stuff translated in the first place.

Comments are love and appreciated~
