There’s an interesting little side note I want to start out with. For the first time today I noticed that the JPG I upload to Fotki doesn’t look the same as the JPG I see on Photoshop. It seems nobody else wants to say it, so I will:

"Eh."

There's nothing wrong with it (although for my personal taste I don't like the makeup or the earrings), it's just a bit boring, as many headshots are.

Oh well, although boring they are still a necessary part of one's port. And I like the makeup and earrings. I mean, I wouldn't wear either but for a beauty and accessories shot I think they are both very trend right right now.

And don't get me wrong - I wasn't saying it was bad or unneccessary. I guess I was just conjecturing why you hadn't had any comments on it.

Yeah, I guessed that. But for headshots, I think this is one of the best "standard port necessary" ones I've ever done.

only my opinion.. I think YOU did a great job..the lighting etc...is prefect. I think what is killing me is her expression which is not your fault! I also think her neck is lighter than her face which happens...MAybe can me PS'ed
I too am not crazy about make-up for her features but, that's just me.

Wow, I totally don't see her neck as lighter than her face. At least not anything that I though was significant. Hmm, will go looksy and ponder.

See, makeup wise, that's why I'm not a MUA :D I like the colors though. Is it the colors you think don't work or the shape?

First off yellow is bad on most Aisan people cuz they usually have yellow undertones. Gold is ok but canary yellow is hard to carry off on any eye really depending on what other complimentary colors you use.
I think with the shape of her eye, it just didnt fit (the way it was done). I also think grey is wierd to compliment yellow.

This is all just my opinion tough :-)
