I love those flowers! What are they called? Dandelions? We used to play a wishing game with them - if you make a wish and you blow on them and all the poufy things blow away, then your wish will come true.
the background is a nice green but a bit nondescript for my taste. i wonder how the dandelions would pop out if the background were blue, or if the shot were b/w.
This one looks much more natural than your other Lensbaby shots. You're *really* good at making things look like old, hazy memories. The whites in this are really pleasing and fuzzy.
One thing though... It doesn't seem to matter where on the dandelion or the rest of the picture I look; the sharp, slightly bright bit in the lower left corner keeps pulling my eyes.
As I've been reading comments and scrolling this page up and down I also noticed the left corner. Yeah, I might go edit that, we'll see. I don't think this is a really strong image and even editing that small amount won't make it portfolio worthy.
Portfolio worthy? If you plan on using those last few floral shots, definitely not. This does have its own appeal, but if it were next to the ones you showed in the last several posts, I wouldn't spend much time looking at this one.
PS.... did you consider changing the hue and such to match that pretty blue from the last pics you posted? I just looked at them side by side, and I bet it would be gorgeous with them.

I tried it in BW and really didn't think it did much for the image.

There is enough blur to prop the dandelions (where is Opus... ooops I am given away too much).
Perhaps my fave lensbaby image so far -- damn, I keep forgetting to order mine.

Context aside, though, it's still a good picture.
