In this case, Clark seemed all-too willing to get it on with Lana as a way of reasserting his hetness after the Clex fight.

omg - YES. I had said from the beginning that I thought that if he went to Lana *post* fight it would have WAY more of an impact than if he and Lana had gotten together *before* the fight and wow, did it ever.

He shos up at Lana's,k bloody, bruised, and SO wrecked over the "saying goodbye to a friend. did you ever think things just wouldnt work out the way you planned them" blah blah etc.

The whole thing couldnt have been gayer if they tried.

Agreed.

And the thing is, I didn't even find it gay in a "yum" way necessarily, more like an "awww, how sad."

Clark *so* seemed like this conflicted kid who's freaked out and sought sex as a way of masking that sudden feeling of alienation. Pun unintentional.

Thank you! I can really believe this.

And if they'd just let him express some remorse next week, particularly to Lex, he'd be easy to begin forgiving.

Oh yes.

The remorse, there's a serious lack of it on Clark's part. Which is one thing that's really endeared me to Chloe. That they *have* shown her being remorseful and learning from her mistakes. Such a rarity in SV these days.

Seemed so sad, in a way. Trying to hide everything else. Or maybe forget. I suppose that makes sense.

Oh Lex, Lex, Lex. I can't really take this descent into evil very seriously, and maybe that's a good thing.

neither can i. he just got evil too fast. what happened to the journey? when did it go back to being a lightswitch? it's frustrating that the writers of the show just want people to believe that's just the way he is know, just because they decided he is... because it's easier for them to write, or something. it's such a cop out.

Lana still looks closer to 12 than 22 in many scenes, and that squicked me a bit.

me, too! i just don't see how someone could find her sexually attractive. she's just not... sexy. sure, she's pretty, in a preternatural sort of way, but... not sexy. why would clark want her, when he can have chloe! she's fucking smokin'! and she has a personality.

gah. i hate being forcefed by the writers.

I think KK is lovely and seems like a cool gal, but I don't particularly enjoy watching her in 'sexy' scenes. Though I do think part of it is that she and TW don't generate much heat with each other.

Yeah, I had heard that too. I can't imagine how. It's one thing to play a part, but then to have to watch it with your family? Eeek. I certainly couldn't do that.

It sounds like she's better off sticking with the Canadian film industry. It's lower profile, she doesn't have to come to L.A., and it appears as if there's a bigger selection of roles she's into.

Clark seemed all-too willing to get it on with Lana as a way of reasserting his hetness after the Clex fight. And I thought that Lana's persistence almost seemed to be indicative of the fact. Almost like she was questioning his sexuality and his seeming lack of interest in her beyond fish kisses.

Yes, yes, yes. I wholly agree.
