idk if anyone else would be into this, but i'd love an early seasons canon divergent au where shawn purposefully seduced lassie to get in his good graces on cases rather than actually being into him until one day (a case goes badly, lassie breaks up with him, lassie starts chasing his wife again, something threatens to split them apart, etc, i'm not too picky!) and shawn has to make actual genuine effort because he just realized that he loves him and he's not going to lose him now.

Shawn convinces Lassie to wear lingerie panties to work, and it keeps them both on edge (like Shawn playing with the waistband and teasing Lassie all day). Extra special kudos if Shawn can't take it for long and ends up jumping Lassie someplace inappropriate or semi-public, and Lassie comes in the panties.

Shawn and Lassiter’s hips brushed inappropriately no less than five times in an hour. This time, Shawn had to bite down on his knuckle when Lassiter dropped his pen.

“Oops!” Lassiter grumbled, his acting deplorable.

Seeming to work in slow motion, Lassiter pivoted, bent from the hips, and Shawn hissed around his knuckle at the sight of glorious, panty-encrusted Lassie-ass. Well, not that he could see the panties, but he could ‘see’ them. Especially with the afternoon light streaming in at that angle…
