Maximum Ride: The Manga!

Okay, since December of 07 I've been aware of a manga adaption of James Patterson's Maximum Ride series. I had just forgotten the when and by who. Apparently the new American serialized magazine YenPlus(+) started off with it inside. Thanks to Robert and Jamie for informing me! XD

I just started reading the Maximum Ride manga in Yen+. It's.... average IMHO. I'm not really impressed by it. DX

Can't compare the manga to the REAL book, I'm sure. The book is fantastic.

You also can't judge something by the first one or two chapters. The book is also written through first person POV (not sure if the manga is like that, though).

... *DIES at Fang* Um, no. Just...no. XD I do like Gazzy's design though, rather a cute little mischief maker. I may give this one a miss in general though unless I can find it cheep or something. :/ Books turned manga don't tend to be briliant, readable when bored maybe, like Darren Shan, but not something I'd willingly buy at full price.

I haven't read much manga takes on books myself, so I really don't know. But as far as MR is concerned, art = pretty and wings to stare at so I'll buy *g*
