As I mentioned on twitter the other night, the girls in my class are the kind of girls who, when talking about the recent rise of tax on cigarettes, declare directly to my face that there should be a 'fat tax' for overweight people. You're not a stranger, and your comments are completely wanted and I thank you for them. Your rage lessens my hurt, thank you.

Cereta's post should be required reading for everybody who thinks that losing or maintaining weight merely requires "a few simple changes."

I completely agree. I wish it wasn't so hard for people to grasp simple concepts like "being 'normal' is actually totally fucking hard, dicksmears".

Mary, your classmates also think that the HAIR STRAIGHTENER is one of the most important inventions of the 20th century. And only one of them knew who Jules Verne was.

Pretty sure it's safe to discard any and all opinions they have.

They also want to invent a door you walk through one way and get curly hair, and the other way straight hair.

DO I HAVE TO LIST ANY MORE GENIUS MOMENTS FROM THEM JEEEEEZ.

Also I will most likely come with you and watch you get your skin jabbed with ink until words appear on it.

I called my dad's mum and asked what she wanted for mothers day and the only thing she could think of was talcum powder.

I quite liked some stuff off whatever that one that came after Adore was called, I can't remember its name but it had some sort of nice mellow bittersweet stuff on it. But aside from that, I'll concur. :D

I don't really mind Machina, but it's Billy Corgan's Solo Album # 1 :|! I HAVE A LOT OF OPINIONS ABOUT THIS BAND :(

Have you heard James Iha's solo album? It's this weird folksy effort and it's adorable and I wish to EAT HIS HEAD :D

Machina! That's it!

Yes! Back when Veruca Salt were actually Veruca Salt they used to do weird folksy things with James sometimes.

YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL, MARY. AND YOU WOULD LOOK BEAUTIFUL IN CLAN MERCH. IGNORE THE SILLY GIRLS.

(I used to work with these girls. Of course, I used to work in a gym, so that's kind of expected. Still, there was a reason I was everyone's favorite trainer: I wasn't a judgy-judge.)
