I know, I know. I am so behind on LJ again. Work has been sucking away my time (and my will to live). I want to spend some time on it this weekend, but pre-spring cleaning must take precedence. I want everything neat as a pin before the summer bugs make their appearance. I've not lived in this house over a summer, so I don't know how bad it is

Butters isn't a TV watcher at all, but my parents' cat, Ditto, is fascinated by the television, particularly by video games (something about the way the character moves on the screen, particularly in those third-person type semi-fixed camera angle games like Legend of Zelda.) So I think it just depends on the cat?

No, my cats -- back when I wasn't allergic to them -- were never interested in television. They were endlessly fascinated by movements in the forest and across the grass. I never dared let them out in the country, though. Too many coyotes.

I have had cats that have had their interests caught by the TV momentarily--they might get absorbed for a minute or two by some intriguing movements on the screen. But mine have always seemed unable to sustain interest. I wish they had, it would've been delightful!
