Whoa, someone else likes Alpha Centauri? That's good to know. It's basically what Civ III should have been, only good. Good luck finding a copy though. (If you do, get the expansion pack, Alien Crossfire.) It's especially hilarious to go into all the .txt's included with the game because you can change literally every line of text in the game and also change the artwork. As for action games? Beats me.

I got it for 10 bux. It was in one of those gray EA jewel cases that you find in racks of cheap games and other weird CD things at EB.

If Civ3 were Civ2 with Alpha Centauri's border system (and fog of war, damnit. Sure Civ2 had fog of war but there was no fog), it would be perfect.
