Hello again!
To those of you who sit on the edge of your seats day after day waiting for me to update my LJ, I'm sorry for letting you down. I've been far too emo over a couple of things these past few weeks to write on LJ, to be honest. The way I see it, there is already far too much emo LJ writing going on in this world, so I definitely do not need to add to it. It's better this way, trust me.
But here is a hilarious story; remember, when I used to play the trumpet, like two years ago? And then, I quit playing the trumpet because it totally sucked? Well... I got asked to play a trumpet gig in Canmore, a.k.a. gorgeous mountain town four hours' drive away from Edmonton, this weekend, so obviously I'm going, especially since it is with Misha and Jonny Mac, which means that it will be super fun. It's a two-night gig, so we'll drive down Friday and play, then hang out in town all Saturday, and then play Saturday night, and drive home Sunday morning. It will be a blast; Misha and I have both been emo over some similar things this past little while... I'm hoping the mountains will give us a break from that, if only briefly. At least the surroundings will be pleasant! Damn, but do I love the mountains. Anyways, I'm looking forward to some time away from Edmonton and the highway crew; it will be a well-deserved break, I think.
