Oh ... oh wow. That was absolutely brilliant! Seriously, one of the best horror stories I've read in years, original or fanfic, because really good horror hits us in our vulnerable places, and this is ... eek.

And now, after refreshing my flist to make sure there are still people there, I will go hide under the sofa.

Absolutely fantastic! Riveting, eery, and weirdly believable... I loved it - and a part of me that the rest of me is telling not to be so silly is praying it never happens, and will be keeping an eye out.
