Things have almost gotten back to normal. Which is a bit of an odd thing to say. But I feel like it's getting there.

Hopefully the plans to get out of the house/town in general will be the extra kick I need to get back to my old self. Saw Brett today, and the two of us are planning to head out to Brandon to see 9. We tried inviting Joe too but

Uh. I hope this isn't becuase I haven't been paying close enough attention to LJ, but what's the story about this trip? (either way, hope you have a good time)

Well, my mom was suffering from cancer for the last year or so. Getting off of chemo treatments in... May? I'm not even sure anymore.

It's just a check up in the city with the professional doctor/equipment to do blood tests and possibly a CAT scan to see if there is any returning signs of cancer. It's like, a check up she needs to get every season for the next year or so, I think. Don't know that exact details.

But that's the story.
