I can't remember ever disagreeing or fighting with my mom about how I look or my fashion choices. She thought it was funny that I always wanted to wear black when I was a teenager, but that's about the extent of it.

But then, I get along really well with my mom. So I don't think I'd be interested in reading that book anyway!
