In the Mighty Jungle

Once upon a time, in the mighty jungle in faraway land, there lived an Elephant Prince called Jaejoong.
All creatures in the jungle loved him and even the Goddess herself took preference of him, for he was blessed with beauty so unheard of across the land. Flawless pale skin, big doe eyes, full pout ruby lips, soft silken smooth hair; all who gazed upon him would fall under his spell.
But alas, no human could ever glimpse on the beauty creature, for the elephants stood guard most ferociously.
And so, history became legend, legend became myth and for two hundred years, the Elephant Prince Jaejoong hid in the jungle most deep, that only him and his elephants could across. No human could ever dream on venturing.
Except for one.
His name was Yunho, a banana farmer famed for his long, straight, scrumptious bananas that all Kingdoms were craving for. From the moment he first heard of this folklore, of Elephant Prince Jaejoong, he wished to see the Prince for himself, if only to prove that legend was true.
And so he went, into the deep, deep mighty jungle, armed with only three bananas bunches from his farm.
Deep, deep into the mighty jungle he walked, crossing rivers and hiding in caves, warring the harsh rain and battling giant anaconda. He went into no-man’s-land and still he ventured deeper, for his will was strong to see the famed Elephant Prince.
Days turned into nights, nights turned into weeks, and before long Yunho had lost count on the many moons since he first stepped into the jungle. His three bananas bunches however, remained fresh and ripe as if they were new, for these were Yunho’s special bananas: they would stay long, straight and scrumptious for as long as he wished to.
Then one day, when he was hiding in one of the caves, Yunho finally saw him.
The most perfect and beautiful human specimen he had ever laid his eyes on, riding an elephant.
“Halt!” Yunho said as he ran out from the cave, “Elephant Prince Jaejoong, please halt!”
But alas, one of the mighty elephants who stood guard over the prince, trumpeted loudly in anger. With the long, white tusks she strutted forward, her trunk moved wildly to hit Yunho.
“I wish no harm!” Yunho shouted as he ducked beneath the mighty trunk, “I only wish to gaze upon your fair face, and to give you these long, straight, scrumptious bananas!”
As if on spell, the mighty elephant stopped attacking Yunho and even the Elephant Prince himself stopped in his tracks. Yunho watched with bated breath as the Elephant Prince Jaejoong turned around, and his eyes shone with delight the moment he saw Yunho’s bananas.
And so the tale ended, for the Elephant Prince fell in love with the farmer at that first sight. The two lived together in the jungle, where Yunho grew his famed, long, straight, scrumptious bananas, only for the feast and the eyes of the Prince.
