Have eaten Chinese lunch with A., have seen Peter Pan (with Sophie Aldred in it, which was nice; Pan v. irritating, as he should be, Tinkerbell well done, pirates nicely evil, want to read the book now), have had four huuuuuuge heavy rolls of insulating wallpaper stuff delivered, which are now squatting in the living room like, well, like huge

I have several weekends free in February and March, and am amenable to bribery. Just saying.

I'd never really noticed the area flats around the bit of the New Town where I was staying last weekend - because the hill drops away quite steeply, there are lots of two-storey area flats! So you go to what sounds like a small basement flat and you end up in a vast ten-room apartment spread over two floors... Some actually have a two-storey stair winding down into the area, and two doors one above the other.
