haha well I think Jim's mom is Jewish but I don't think his family are practicing Jews, mainly because his Dad is not (Halpert isn't a Jewish name.. is it???) and mainly because its been well established on the show that Jim celebrates Christmas. I know historically if your mother is Jewish, you are too, but I have a bunch of friends whose mothers are Jewish but they don't practice and I guess that's how I see Jim.

Anyway, I digress. THANK YOU!!! LOL.

thats how I am also, but i spend the week of Hanukkah with my dad. thats as practicing Jew as i get unfortunately... i don't think you wanted my life story lol =]

...and there's a fic on mtt that like does a 'halpert history' and the author looked up that Halpert is a jewish name. i read too much fanfiction. anyways, hoping for more!
