But what do you do with a tendon hammer? 'Cause I'm picturing tendons and ligaments and veins and shit just kind of lying around in a pile, and then this rubber mallet off to the side, and they do not really seem to go together.

And...I thought you were going to go take this test, and were already late? ;)

test is this afternoon.

we use the tendon hammer to bang tendons (nicely of course) to test reflexes. it's a way of examining the nervous system and finding out where exactly in the nervous system the problem is located.
