i'm having the same problem. i'm trying to space the discs between getting things accomplished. doing something deserves a reward and then i have to do some more.
I had the self-control to hold off listening to the books until my trip to Europe, with those long flights and bus/train rides, but once I launched in, I just couldn't control myself.
(You're also listening to the Jim Butcher novels, or are you referring to the Gabaldon audiobooks? Davina Porter absolutely rocks as a narrator for those...)
i'm referring to the gabaldon books. i can get really bad at immersing myself into reading or now-- listening. but at least while i'm listening i can fold clothes and do everything except run the vacuum while they're on. i have been spacing them out though.
