Germany and France, Day 4: Stuttgart to Lyon

My day started before dawn, standing outside my uncle's house in the light of the full moon, with just the barest edge of pale gray showing on the horizon. The tour company provided a free taxi pickup, which arrived promptly at 5:45 am, and proved to be a carpool style arrangement with a couple of other people going on the tour to Provence.
In which I pass through three countries between breakfast and dinner )

Your trip sounds amazing! I don't know if I'll ever get back to Europe, so I'm enjoying it through your posts. ^_^

Thanks! I've been having a great time so far, especially since I get to visit some of the places I wrote about in my medieval fantasy novels.

i would love to just take a road trip and walk through all the ruins that you've been mentioning. can't wait to see your pictures of all the scenery, must really be beautiful.
