NKOTB

Sometimes I think I won't warm to the students in my current school the way I did in my old one. The sheer size of all the classes takes some of the personal touches and intimacy away. But sometimes I think they are every bit as sweet as my former students ( Read more... )

Hee! I have very fond memories of that concert!

I was *so* excited when I learned they were coming to the area. When I realized the graduation was on the same night, there was such disappointment.

I bought their new album, but I've no idea where I put it.

I think it'd be a bit weird to see them again after all this time. I was 11 when I saw them before, to see them again at 28 would definitely be a bit odd. Probably a lot of fun, but still strange.

Ah, bless your students for that lovely present :). You've clearly made a real impact on them, and I'm sure many others :). It's lovely to get affirmation of that, though, isn't it? :)

Sorry you didn't get to go to the concert though - hopefully they'll be back round again soon :). I always had a thing for Jon, myself (but then I think it was partly because everyone else fancied Jordan and Joey, and I wanted to be different!)

I know! It was so sweet of them! It was especially nice because some of my classes have been rather rough, behavior-wise. (Unfortunately, I have some *really* negative personalities in my classroom this year!) It's so great to get students who are genuinely good and thoughtful.

I'm hoping NKOTB will come around again too. (And yeah, I was one of those who fancied Joey. Predictable, yes, but he was closest to me in age. *G*)
