The Last Dragon Remake - Sho'nuff!

Normally, I say why mess with a good thing? Was The Last Dragon not one of the most wonderfully cheesy, highly quotable movies of the 80's? Sho'nuff! I recently heard they were doing a remake and I thought: the original is a classic! There is only one way a remake would be even remotely worth watching

Hee! Oh, Samuel L. has certainly butchered some roles, that's for sure. Just because he seems like the type who could *totally* do it, doesn't mean the movie itself will be any good.

I've gotta say though: He's probably the *only* one who could ever get me to give a remake a chance. Because the late Mr. Carry was "the baddest mofo lowdown around this town." *G*

I think it might work.

He could certainly sell the part, but can he do it without chewing the scenery?

Good question! Guess we'll see.

(Though, had the original movie been made at a different time, that role probably would have been his. Some of the lines just seemed taylor-made for him!)
