D&DC FanArt Gifties

Some time ago, I made a movie-poster style piece of artwork to go with my latest D&DC story "Through a Mirror Darkly." I'd also cropped and rearranged it to make the icon that I'm using. Then, as many of you know, my computer crashed in May. There were a few choice things on my hard drive that I hadn't saved yet which fell victim to that ( Read more... )

I haven't read Temple of Love yet but those look great. When my (first ever) D&D fic is done would you consider making me an icon for it? It has Eric/Diana...*grin*

Thanks, honey!

If you want to give me a basic summary of what it's about, and maybe a few more specific details as to what you want (nothing too spoilery, though), I can try to have it ready by the time you're finished writing.

Feel free to send an email if you don't want to give anything away here. :)

Hmmm...well the main E/D moments are also major, major spoilers so I really don't want to say. :p I don't mind waiting for the poster/icon until after I've written it, since at the rate I've been going I'll be lucky if I finish this side of Christmas, LOL. It's rather annoying, as my Muse seems to want me to write Doctor Who fic much more than she does D&D. *sigh* By the way, you need to watch DW if you can ever, I get the feeling you might like it. It's a VERY shippy show with the two main characters. ;-) Don't mind me, I'm on a one woman crusade to convert everyone in to a crazed DW fan like me. :p

No problem! Just be sure to remind me when it's out so I can give it a look-see. I'd be happy to see what I can do. (Besides, I know how it feels to have one's muse snap the whip for one fandom more often than another. *G*)

I used to watch all the old DW series when I was younger. (My father even has most of them on DVD, I think.) I haven't caught up to the new one yet, though. Maybe someday!

*Squeeeeeeee!!!*

A fabulous poster and icon for a great story-you're both so talented :) Might just have to print this out for my classroom (hey I teach Media Studies now, and it NEARLY counts!).

*Scuttles off back to drink lots of hot lemon in an attempt to be better enough to go back to the sprogs tomorrow*

Are those pesky kids making you sick? Tell them to keep their germs to themselves!

I'm glad you liked the poster! *hug* (It was really rather fun to make it!)

Sitting in front of the computer, contemplating the sad state of my internet connection and the half-tonne of housework that I should have been doing rather than looking at he computer, and what do I find??
WOW.
A "thank you" hardly seems quite adequate!

Those are very cool, and it was wonderful of you to make them.
And thanks to you Mirror icon, I too have been inspired on the artistic front, and have found a copy of Photoshop that I never knew we had.

*gives Sharelle a very big Virtual hug for all her wonderful art*

Wheee!

Yay, sweetie! You're very, very welcome, and I'm so glad you liked it! (So sorry to have taken you away from your housework, though. *G*)

I'll be very eager to see what you come up with during your adventures with Photoshop, too!

*hugs you*
