So, I was watching The Dukes of Hazzard movie, just to see what they did to the story of the Duke boys. It's not even 3½ minutes into the movie, and the door to the General Lee was just opened.

No.

Fuck this movie.

I think that's the quickest a movie has made me take it out. If they didn't even understand the concept of the doors and why they didn't open, then you know they didn't understand any of why the Dukes were so awesome.

It shouldn't have been unwelded to begin with. The General Lee is a racing car. The reason it has the double 0's on it is because of this. Racing cars have welded doors. The Duke boys are racers, hence why the season they were absent and their cousins came in, the excuse for the absence to cover up salary disputes was that they were racing in NASCAR. Them being moonshine runners and getting caught is a major plot point for the entire concept of the show.

And don't get me started on how in the first two minutes, they were alluding to sex, when the Duke boys are supposed to be proper southern gentlemen. And they aren't supposed to be stupid. Perhaps not as educated, but they're kind hearted, bright individuals.

That was three strikes against this movie in under 3½ minutes.
