Question for my NYC friends...

Jan 04, 2008 09:28

Whats the weather like in NYC late march/early april?  We're trying to plan a trip but definitely dont want to go when it's too cold. When does it start warming up?

TIA!

NYC last yr in March didnt get chilly at all...right now its pretty cold up there but by March generally its jacket weather definately maybe 40's. it generally starts getting nice mid aprilish i want to say. Id start looking at hotels soon though since conference season begings end of march early april aswell and hotels across the city start raising their prices :)

it's totally hit or miss, really. it could be nice by then, sometimes it starts warming up. but it could also be a cold streak!

I hate to be Debbie Downer, but it's really not warm here until the end of April/early May, although it's considerably milder in early April.

I think we'll wait and possibly go in the late summer.

Yep- the PP's are right. You could get anything from low 30's to high 50's. One suggestion is to bring rain gear! But luckily NYC is fun is any weather ;)
