Sadly, Netflix haven't decided to un-cancel the show. On the other hand, according to co-showrunner Ildy Modrovich on Twitter and various of the actors including Tom Ellis himself, they have added some extra episodes to season 5. There are going to be sixteen now, instead of ten, so yay

You know, I love this show, it's probably one of my fave shows currently still ongoing. And yet, part of me is happy that the show will end before it goes bad.

Now they have a good amount of warning, a chance to come up with a good ending, and as a result, if s5 goes well, it will be remembered as the great show it was.

compare that to spn, as reluctant as I still am to lose Dean Winchester, part of me thinks the show had long since outrun it's good days, and the further on it gets, the less you remember the good parts. I don't think I'd want that for any other show I love.

I'm fine with it ending too. as long as it's done well. I feel now they have a little more 'leg room' to do that in.
