If you're a thinker, you have to be critical of the generally accepted. If you're an activist, you most definitely have to be. If you want to change the world, you get the drill. It probably applies here... doesn't mean you have to put down anything anyone says.

being in the film industry (oddly enough) I think you might work out fine by what I can judge of the producers here...
