Gratuitously shirtless!Arthur ftw! \o/

I look forward to the M/A 'brotherly bullying', personally. It's sweet! ♥

That's why I'm only taking this as a very general kind of thing. I just think there probably want be much slash anything in the first two episodes as they're meant to be 'action packed' episodes.

Hmmm... Not too sure what to think about the "brotherly bullying" other than the same old same old. Still... my optimism about this season has increased in the past few weeks, so let's hope they can live up to expectations. What I really, desperately want is some character/relationship development for these two. Of course, I'm not sure how much further that can go without the magic reveal.

Also, I may be the only one in fandom... But much as I love seeing Bradley's gorgeous chest, I feel, in some ways, like it cheapens him as an actor just a bit. Or, that it makes him feel like that. I don't think it's really necessary. They can use Bradley for his amazing acting ability, not just capitalize on his good looks/nice body. But I'm probably in the minority on that one ;)

Anyway, thanks for sharing! I'm looking forward to seeing the first two episodes :D

Yeah the 'brotherly bullying' comment made me a bit :\, but that might actually be what I would interpret as 'subtext what subtext'. Sorry that doesn't really make much sense does it.

ITA referring topless Bradley and considering his comments in the episode commentaries I’d say it does. I want 'accidental' butt shots if anything thanks.

In the complete tweet conversation, the blogger admits he's watching for Katie and makes a reference to Colin's ears. So yeah, I'd say mr. manly man is doing his best to ignore subtext.

Aaaand, I tended to agree with this blogger's reviews. He liked S2 better than S1 (me too) and disliked both 2.01 and 1.01 (me too). In the first two seasons, "Merlin" didn't hit its stride until the latter half. As long as the show eventually gets there, I'll get over it in the long run.

Yes I was thinking of mentioning something like that. I find it very easy to disregard the start of (most) the series it worked in the first series... well because it was the first series; we need the backstory.

Although I don't think the whole re-establishing thing will be the same as last time, but I do feel the first couple of episodes will mainly be telling us how things still are and aren't and setting the tone of the over all feel and 'plot' of the series, aaand then we should get to the good stuff.

After the long hiatus just seeing M/A faces together again is good for now.

It is good to see their faces again, especially Merlin's face in the trailer as he looks at Morgana and Arthur defending Camelot in pics. RAWR!

One of the producers, probably Capps, said there will be more multi-part episodes. So it's not just 3.01 and 3.02, but other episodes later on in the season. From my viewpoint, this has to help with continuity.

Oh, has he? I think I remember hearing something like that too but I'm not sure. That does sound promising. :-)

Hm? Has there been some press preview?

And hahah! Bradley mentioned that some of his naked chest shots are just regular scenes but done with his top off for no apparent reason XD
