OH PSHAW, NO. Don't worry about it, I'll still post on my scheduled turn. I don't know why I thought it was my turn this week, I'm going crazy. But gah, yeah, I'll be posting a new schedule fairly soon. August is flying by, man.

I like the idea of an afterparty post following each new episode. Only - how long after the episode has aired would we be having that? One day? More? Because as you say, quite a lot of fans do not have the possibility of watching as the eps air in the UK...

I was thinking the next day. The show airs at night and it takes about two/three hours after that for it to leak online, so I feel like the next morning (say 10 AM PST/1 PM EST) is enough time for everyone who's ~*~dedicated~*~ to have watched it (and even rewatched it!) and been able to form opinions/questions.

Obviously, anyone who watches it a few days later is free to come back to it and post their questions. Honestly, People can lurk/post there all week until the next episode airs.

Humbug! I personally think it should at least be POSTED the day the ep airs so that people who DO watch it on Saturday and want to discuss have the opportunity to start, but it'd of course be open to go on further into the next day. Like, the discussion won't just cut off suddenly on Sundays, you know? If things go well, it should be an ongoing thing. IDK, I don't want to rob the community of the chance to discuss the ep on the day it actually airs, but we'd of course still participate with new additions the following day or what not. And download links are usually up within one or two hours after the episode originally airs. As you said, ep discussion will last as long as members fuel it. To protect the people who haven't watched the new ep, though, we'd of course put all discussion q's under a cut.

IF THAT'S HOW YOU WANNA DO IT THEN? I was just thinking that to avoid live blogging/not to compete with the CAPSLOCK GROUPWATCHING posts we should post it afterwards (as to not compete with the aformentioned.) Plus (I'm 80% sure of this) none of the other mods are UK based, so they wouldn't be able to post to the 'SCENE FOUR ROCKED' 'WTF WAS ARTHUR THINKING' 'WHAT JCAPPS DID WRONG' until we've actually seen it, right?

As for the spoilers problem, I was thinking each TOPIC OF DISCUSSION would be posted by mods (i.e. The start of a comment thread. Obv using BIG BOLD FONT to make them stand out. A new MAIN COMMENT per idea or whatever) and because it's in the comments only people actively looking would see them, thus negating the need of cuts/selective non-spoiler-y wording.

I think monthly posts would be the best option for an Honesty & Venting meme - while the post is extremely active right now, that's because it's the first and folks are getting things ~off their chests~ and I don't think people will be so inclined to just repeat themselves? Best to give us time to accumulate new things to talk about.

I think so too. I definitely agree that a lot of the success of the post comes from needing to let out some stuff off our chests, and I think that kind of thing runs dry on a weekly basis. I think they'd become increasingly inactive if they were too frequent, so I've also voted for Monthly.
