And I've any way been having a weird/bad/insane mood this week... Don't want to go into it, but lets just say that I'm finally on my way to get back on my feet mentally. (I hope.)

On a spiritual journey, eh? That's good for you, trying to find your path. I used to try and look for one myself, but I kinda gave up on it when I realised how fluctual my faith is. All the best for you ( ... )

I'm not sure if it's a spiritual journey. I believe certain things and I'm very selfless, at least I see myself that way. And it doesn't mesh well with what gets taught in Sunday School ( ... )

I think people often forget that offensiveness isn't something inherent in a word, words acquire their tone from how they are used.
This is very true.

I would very much like to hear those Finnish words. :D Or read them as the case may be. ^^

My mother who works as a medical secretary was quite amused by how her co-workers pushed for the position to be called "Clinic Assistent" since that would sound spiffier. Kind of how "revisor" has become "controller" and other changes, usually anglifications, of work titles so people can feel more important. ^^'

Jag har ingen som helst uppfattning om Östgötar... Har en kompis som flyttade dit ganska så nyligen, och har bara vart i landskapet en gång för att gå på hans inflyttningsfest. (Förutom de fåtal gånger jag vart på genomresa mot Stockholm.) Har aldrig hört nån stereotyp om dem, och ingen aning vad en Östgötsk dialekt låter.
